There was X-country a FEW WEEKS ago before i even started BLOGGING so i'm gonna write about it. This is what happened during the event.
The day before the event, i slept at around 8pm to get all the energy i needed for the event the day after. I was like SO nervous when i woke up in the morning. After taking a bath and a quick meal of oatmeal, ( and putting on clothes, of course ) i asked my bro to hurry up,(who was now in full ncc uniform) cause he was taking up so much time to look at the mirror while putting on gel. Even I dont spend that much time on looks anyways! After that, i just headed for the car with my bro. Halfway, my bro was saying that i'm a noob because i haven't attended this before.I'm a sec 1 for god's sake! He's such an ass. Really reminds me of a HORSE. Anyways, after reaching Macritchie, i was behind my bro and my bro gave me this ' You are such a geek and idiot and noob, why are u following me? ' look . After following him to the carpark, i just feel like hugging him, and saying 'ABANG!' infront of his squadmates to embarass him. But i didn't because there were a whole lot of them there and they were in full u. Oh wadevr, NCC. I just hate the whole bunch of them. As usual, my good friend, Maisarah, had started her bladder problems just a few minutes after meeting me. We went to the toilet which was full of flying bugs. ( Of course, Macritichie is a place where you get to get ' CLOSE' to nature. ) So what do u expect? Halfway during our visit in the loo, we heard some kind of 'PATRIOTIC' song, so i got really worried. I told Mais to hurry up, after getting out of the cubicle, we were in a so-called 'PATRIOTIC' position, cause we thought it was a national song or sumthin. After that, Mais STILL had some bladder problems so I was forced to wait for her. They were now playing another PATRIOTIC song. After mais got out of the cubicle, she washed her hands and the song was still playing. Me and Mais waited for another min until the song finished cause we were kinda scared to sort of ' Interrupt' the ceremony. Me and mais were SO relieved to hear ' All the small things' by Blink 182. So we just went back to the carpark after that. We found out that everyone took out their skirts except US. ( I know what you're thinking, me and Mais are NOT a couple) So, after taking out our skirts and wearing our shirt and shorts, we walked passed shahirah and the rest and she cheered for Mais cause both of us always wear long pants for PE. I first thought that me and mais received some kind of 'Award for the latecomers due to the visit to the loo' but apparently, it wasnt. ): We sat at the very back, behind Wen Qi and Harish. For some, reason, Wen Qi likes to bother us. I think its becuz we are LAME. Cuz the other time we discussed about some superheroes during recess and Wen qi was the only one there besides us. And i was like discussing about pyro and iceman from x-men and how cute they are and mais was saying she liked storm or sumthin. After that, she changed the subject to justice league. And i told mais that justice league is kinda childish. Then Wen Qi heard our argument and he turned around and said ' You guys are SO lame. ' Proofs my point. So wen qi was like wad are you doing here? This is a place for boys. Oh wadevr, like i give a damn. Anyways, Wen Qi told us that we're Tomboys. ( Thanks! ) So don't we deserve a place here? Anyways, i saw Adilah, Ashiqa, Amy, and Ika. They were sitting in a circle, and talking, as usual. After that, nothing much happened. I love the run aniwaes, i'm not sarcastic. The air was like so fresh and everything, i just love it. Although the run was all bumpy, it wasnt really tiring. I think a 1.8km non-bumpy run at CSS is even more tiring than a 3.4km bumpy run at Macritchie. Anyways, halfway, i met Hariza and Xin Rong. Hariza was like FluffiaH! Then she hit me hard on the back while i was running. Fluffiah is not my name, btw, an i'm not FLUFFY. Anyways, when i was nearing the finishing line, i got motivation from my sec 2 npcc seniors. Not all of them were cheering tho. I rmbr one of the guys was like, girls suck! Anyways, my bro was there in the jungle too, and he was like laughing. I really, realli wanted to say hi abang assyaraf! and wave at him but it would waste my energy. Anyways, i didnt sprint at the last part cause i feel like puking, but anyways, i got position number 36. Its good enough that you get a position anyways! (: Amy got number 4!! I'm so happy for her. I really pity my friend who got 33 cause she really had high expectations of herself but she didnt get top 30. I really feel kinda sad cause i'm 36. And i get nothing for being top 40. We only get prizes if we're top 30. ): Anyways, i have classmates who got Number 3 for girls and number 2 for the guys. That's all for now. (: Bbyee! |
