I finally found my spirit for bloggging back. I think i deserve an applause don't I? Anyways, I've decided to update my blog due to high demand. People seem to want more of my talented writings. ok. This entry is just to cover what happened during the holidays.
Well, nothing much happened during the holidays. I didnt really go anywhere during the holidays. Why? Cause my TOILET is under renovation. Lame shit right? Anyways, nothing much happened except for my emergency trip to Kuala Lumpur. Or should i say, Kay-L as wad mak-ciks(aunty in malay) say. Anyways, i'm sad cause my auntie passed away. And how old is she again? 23! She plays the gamilan for Misha Omar and loads of other instrument. It seems that everyone in our family is musically-inclined. But i do believe that she died young cause she has a good soul. As the saying goes 'The good die young' . Anyways, in case u dont know, my grandma's younger brother has 10 children. All of them play diff instruments. I've visited their house quite a few times and they have a storeroom full of musical instruments. GOD. There are a lot of types of instruments. Malay instruments, Chinese instruments...NOT ONLY english instruments. My uncle 19 year old uncle plays the electric guitar and my 16 year old uncle plays the drums. I think its really cool. I mean, they have all those instruments in their HOUSE! Isnt that sooo COOL? Some of them are songwriters and composers. Oh god, if i have all of those instruments in my house..i think i won't bother studying. Cause Singapore's all about studying. I'm really sorry i have to make this comment but i just dont agree on the idea that all we do in life is to study. Cause its no surprise that there are not many talented people( talented as in talented in sports, music, singing, etc. ) in Singapore. Have u ever tried comparing Singapore Idol to American Idol? Well, u can very well see the difference. Anyways, my trip wasnt an enjoyable one cause..well, it isn't the right occasion to go on holiday. I mean, my aunt passed away and my whole family rode a car from Singapore all the way to Kuala Lumpur. I'm just glad to know that my aunties and uncles have the same taste as us. They LOVE and are obsessed with Naruto, they love the bands we love and much more. So far, this experience felt quite..how to say this..IRONIC and WHOA! Because just last year my Allahyarhamha Auntie spent a few days with me and my family. We got along quite well. We went shopping at one of the most famous shopping centres at Kuala Lumpur where one of them had an indoor theme park in it and also we went to watch a world class musical performance at a theatre. And last year, we also were talking about Naruto. ( Naruto sure brings lots of memories.=) ) To sum it all up, my holidays was the worst one i ever had. And i cant even believe my Grandfather (Grandma's Brother) held the event like a marriage. He still makes jokes and laugh at the event where we are supposed to read prayers for the diseased. What i have to say is, atuk (Grandfather) i admire your courage. Well, that's all for now. I'll post a happier entry after this. *Pats you on the back* Don't Worry! (: |
