Afito's Adventures

Hello,

The name's afiah. I'm currently 18, and I get a year older on the 29th of April.
Because of how this world is no place for a mind or a thought, I feel it best to manifest my ideas into the virtual world. After all, my global position systems are vocally addressed. Oh, and you could say that I can get a teeny bit mental at times.

title : High school drama
I guess my first impression of SA was right. I remembered going to SA during the open house with Siqing and looking down at the canteen, I said "Why this place so high school-y ah?". Never would I think I'd have to use that phrase again.

First impressions are the worst way to judge things but for the first time, my impression was true. Until now I do still feel that it is very high school-y.

Never thought cliches exist but yes, there is a hierarchy in the school, a social one. The school pays a great deal of attention to the sports CCAs so jocks (or athletes) in the school are highly regarded and so called 'cooler' than those who aren't, especially those who proudly don the Team SAJC shirt.

I was discussing with Chloe today, after 2.4, saying that there really is an order in which things work in school, and that it never did cross our minds that cliches which exists only in american dramas would apply to us.

Unfortunately it does. But not so extreme of course.

I love SAJC and all my newly-acquired friends but i think the school makes me feel intimidated in all ways possible that I don't even want to begin.

It just makes you feel like a loser.

And that's all there is to it.
